Chapter 10 — Full Circle
The light was different that day. Not brighter, not dimmer, just… different. It wasn’t something you could explain, but you could feel it in the air. Everything around us felt still, as if time had paused, holding its breath.
Adam and Eve were standing by the grove where everything had started. They didn’t call us over. We didn’t need to be called. We just knew to walk toward them.
For months, they had guided us through what felt like years of change. They never raised their voices, never said more than was necessary. But their presence was always enough to bring clarity. And now, even in silence, we understood: this was it. The end.
“We’ve come to the end,” Adam said. There was no drama in his voice. It was just certain.
“You’re ready,” Eve added, her voice soft but solid. “And humanity is waiting.”
I looked at my wife. She didn’t cry. I didn’t either. It wasn’t that we weren’t feeling anything. It was just that we understood this wasn’t about loss. It was a transition. A passing of the torch.
“There are seven more Names,” Eve said. “And they close the circle.”
So, we stood there without the usual distractions, notes, or rituals and just listened. This time, the final teachings came without anything extra.
Mem Nun Kuf – Accountability
These three letters helped me understand something simple but huge. All the times I had blamed others or felt like the world was out to get me, it all started to make sense. The victim mindset, that feeling that everything happens to you, that it’s all someone else’s fault, was gone. I saw now that I’m the one who creates my own change.
“This Name,” Adam explained, “breaks the cycle of blame. It removes the idea that life happens to you. It teaches you to own everything, not as guilt, but as power. When you take responsibility for your role in any situation, even pain can become a tool for growth.”
It hit me hard. I thought about all the times I pointed fingers at others or blamed fate for things that went wrong. This Name made me realize what I’d been avoiding: if I wanted things to change, it had to start with me. I had to stop waiting for someone else to fix it. Only then could I take control and truly grow.
Aleph Yud Ayin – Great Expectations
By meditating on this Name, I realized just how much control I had over how I experienced time. Instead of always wanting more from the future, I learned to appreciate what I had in the present. The constant pressure to chase the next thing, the idea that I needed to change or acquire something to feel fulfilled, slowly began to fade. I could feel the weight of all those unmet expectations lifting off me, replaced by a growing sense of peace.
Eve looked at us and said, “Hope isn’t the problem. Attachment is. This Name helps you release the illusion that happiness is always somewhere ahead of you, that if only something were different, you’d be whole.”
I thought back to all the times I’d told myself that life would be better if I had just a little more money, a better job, and more understanding from the people around me. I believed that happiness would always be just out of reach unless I could get something external to change. But this Name helped me see things differently. It pulled me back into the present, reminding me that everything I needed to feel complete was already here. I wasn’t missing anything. I just had to appreciate what I had right now, in this moment.
Chet Bet Vav – Contacting Departed Souls
With this Name, I was able to connect with loved ones who had passed on. It wasn’t about summoning spirits or trying to reach the dead; it was about feeling the presence of those souls still connected to me through the Light of this Name. I could see them surrounded by a radiant energy that felt peaceful, protective, and alive in its own way. It wasn’t about bringing them back but about elevating their souls, sending them to higher places in the spiritual world, and opening myself to receive whatever guidance they had for me.
“This is about connection,” Adam explained. “Nothing is really gone. The soul doesn’t end; it evolves, expands, and transforms. When you focus on this Name, you aren’t calling up ghosts. You’re aligning with a Light that still exists and always will.”
I closed my eyes and thought of my grandfather, who had passed years ago. I remembered how he used to pause before responding to a question, his mind clearly processing something deeper before speaking. At that moment, I wondered if he had always been with me, in his own quiet way, guiding me along this path. Maybe he was part of this journey even before I realized it.
Resh Aleph Hey – Lost and Found
This Name became my guide, helping me find my way back when I felt lost. It didn’t give me a map or a set of instructions, but it illuminated the path ahead, making it easier to find my bearings. With each step, I felt more at home with myself, more sure of where I was going, and more confident in my choices. It wasn’t just about direction; it was about grounding, about feeling rooted in something deeper than the noise of everyday life.
“We all get lost,” Eve said, her voice steady and reassuring. “But with this Name, you stop wandering. You stop confusing motion with progress. Your direction becomes internal, not external.”
This one was especially personal for me. I had spent so many years running after things that didn’t truly resonate with who I was, doing what others expected of me, trying to keep up appearances and maintain the right image. I had confused activity with purpose and motion with progress. But this Name didn’t offer me a path mapped out ahead; it gave me something far more valuable. It gave me my center. A place to come back to when I felt scattered, a reminder that everything I needed to move forward was already within me. I didn’t need to look outside for answers. I just needed to remember who I was and trust that everything else would fall into place.
Yud Bet Mem – Recognizing Design Beneath Disorder
When I find myself overwhelmed with doubt, panic, or the heavy weight of uncertainty, these letters remind me that even in the chaos, there is order. They open my eyes to the greater plan the Creator has woven into my life and the challenges I face. In those moments when everything seems like it’s falling apart, this Name helps me see the bigger picture, the invisible threads holding it all together.
Adam looked at me with a steady gaze, and for a moment, I felt like he could see right into me. “Even the worst moments are woven into something greater,” he said quietly. “You don’t always see the design, but it’s there. This Name helps you trust when there’s no evidence.”
I thought back to one of the hardest nights of my life. I had been lost in confusion, drowning in fear, feeling like God had turned His back on me. I wondered, what if that night had been a part of my journey? What if the pain I’d gone through had shaped my ability to hold the Light I now carried? Could that moment have been essential to who I was becoming? The thought stayed with me, opening a new layer of understanding.
Hey Yud Yud – Prophecy and Parallel Universes
This Name gifted me the power of prophecy, not in the way most people think, like fortune-telling or predicting the future, but more as an ability to see beyond the confines of what I thought was possible. It opened up new dimensions, new possibilities, and new timelines. It allowed me to step into a world where transformation and Light weren’t just distant ideas but actual realities I could tap into.
“This one expands everything,” Eve explained, her voice calm yet full of depth. “It’s not about knowing the future. It’s about seeing the possibilities you never even considered. New paths, new lives. You think you’re stuck, but you’re not. You have the power to shift.”
She paused, her eyes locking with mine. “Prophecy is not about predicting what will happen; it’s about realizing what can happen if you raise your frequency.”
I looked over at my wife. We had changed. We weren’t the same people who began this journey months ago. Something had shifted in us, and we were now walking a higher path that felt expansive and full of potential. I realized that we hadn’t just started this journey; maybe we had been walking it all along, just not seeing it for what it was.
Mem Vav Mem – Spiritual Cleansing
With these letters, I felt like I could hit the “REWIND” and “ERASE” buttons on my spiritual life. It wasn’t about erasing the past or forgetting it. It was about cleansing it, releasing the weight of past mistakes, old pain, guilt, and regrets, and making peace with what had been. This Name offered me the chance to correct what I could and release what I couldn’t, allowing me to move forward in my life with clarity and integrity.
“This is the final reset,” Adam said. His voice was low but steady. “It’s not about forgetting the past. It’s about cleansing it. Whatever you’ve been carrying, pain, guilt, old decisions, they don’t have to define you anymore.”
Eve added, “This Name restores alignment. It clears karmic buildup. It gives you a fresh start, with integrity.”
It felt like the weight of the world had been lifted. For the first time, I truly understood that I didn’t have to carry all the baggage I’d been holding onto, whether from this life or past ones. I could step into the present unburdened and move forward with a renewed sense of purpose.
When the last name was spoken, there was an eerie stillness.
No birds. No wind. Just silence.
“From here on,” Adam said, his voice firm but gentle, “you walk the path. You teach. You serve. Not as students anymore. But as guardians of this Light.”
Eve smiled softly, adding, “And when doubt comes, you have all seventy-two. Use them. Live them. And pass them on.”
They didn’t say goodbye. There was no dramatic farewell. They just turned and began walking back toward the grove. Slowly, they faded into the Light. One moment, they were there, and the next, they were gone. No final words. No grand gestures. Just completion.
My wife and I stood in silence for a long time. We didn’t speak. There was no need to. We both felt the weight of the moment. The responsibility. The privilege. And somewhere deep inside, we both knew this wasn’t the end. It was only the beginning.
The Names have become a part of our everyday life now. It wasn’t sudden, but we started noticing the change over time. It’s in the quiet moments when something just clicks or when we remember a lesson we thought we had forgotten. It’s in the little things, the decisions we make, how we interact with each other, and how we move through the world.
Teaching has happened, but not in the way we were taught. It’s not about being perfect or having all the answers. It’s about living the Names and sharing them by the way we act, how we listen, and how we’re honest about our struggles and doubts. We’re still learning, just like everyone else, but we’re learning together.
Some days feel heavy, with the world’s noise getting in the way of peace. On other days, there’s a calm that makes everything feel okay. But no matter what, we’ve come to know we’re never really alone. The presence is always there, in the quiet, in the spaces between words, in the people we meet. It’s in the Names, guiding us, and in the stillness where we find moments of clarity.
This isn’t about being perfect or having it all figured out. It’s about showing up and being present. And as long as we keep moving forward, step by step, we know that’s enough.
A Note on Sources
The concept of the 72 Names of God explored throughout this work draws upon the foundational teachings of Kabbalah as presented by Rabbi Yehuda Berg and The Kabbalah Centre. The author is deeply grateful for this wisdom tradition and acknowledges it as the spiritual foundation upon which this narrative journey is built. All characters and events are fictional creative expressions inspired by those teachings.
Invitation to the Mental Health Community
It would be remiss of me not to extend a special invitation to the global mental health community. I know the ups and downs of Bipolar I far too well — fifty‑nine years of living with it, and only the last twelve with medication. That’s a long road. But I want to be clear: I am no more a victim than anyone else. My story is simply one version of the human experience.
Over the past two years, as I’ve learned, lived, and shared the 72 Names, my symptoms have become a little easier to navigate. Not gone — but softened. More workable. I originally hoped to publish this book a year ago, but Bipolar I slowed me down. That’s part of the truth. And that’s okay.
So to everyone in the mental health community: You are welcome here. You are seen. You are not alone.
Dive into a Name. Carry it with you. And as you move through your day, expect small tests — tiny ones — designed not to punish you, but to help you notice your reactions. Each moment is an opportunity to shift from negative to proactive, from overwhelmed to intentional.
The 72 Names aren’t a replacement for treatment, support, or professional care. They’re companions. Tools. Gentle guides that can help you reconnect with purpose, steadiness, and the part of yourself that refuses to give up.
The Names are waiting to walk with you toward your ultimate purpose — one breath, one moment, one test at a time.
